This is the amazing tech guy behind my children’s book, Buttons! He also happens to be my amazing hubby, Mr. Wonderful! It’s so handy having a computer genius in the family. It’s not exaggerating to say that without him, Buttons would have NEVER happened! He found our talented illustrator, Sarah Gledhill, at peopleperhour.com, formatted the book, and worked with the printing company, IngramSpark. He actually did ALL the heavy lifting, spending his evenings and weekends to make my dream of publishing a children’s book a reality! That’s true love and that’s one of the many reasons I call him Mr. Wonderful! 🙂
The eBook version of my children’s book, Buttons, is free on Amazon through Valentine’s Day! Just my little way of showing the love during LOVE month! All I ask is that you leave an honest review on Amazon or Goodreads (or both, if you really want to show the love.) 😉
Happy Heart Day, Friends! Thanks for all your love and support! 🙂
“It is not often that someone comes along who is a true friend and a good writer.” -E.B. White, Charlotte’s Web
How lucky am I? This is my longtime friend, Jennifer Edwards, who is not only a true friend, but a good writer! Fortunately for me, she’s also a great editor, which was SO handy when I needed an editor for my first self-published children’s book, Buttons. If you’re looking for a professional editor for your self-published book, check out www.jedwardsediting.net.
If you’d like to see Jennifer’s handiwork firsthand, you can find my children’s picture book, Buttons, on Amazon! It’s free of typos, thanks to Jennifer! 🙂
Since I have ZERO artistic talent, I needed to find a talented illustrator for my children’s book, Buttons! My sweet hubby, Mr. Wonderful, found an amazing illustrator, Sarah Gledhill, on peopleperhour.com. She was incredibly patient as we clumsily navigated our way through my first self-published book. It took 5 months and over 200 emails to achieve the final product, but we did it! Thanks for bringing Buttons to life, Sarah! I couldn’t have done it without you, and I wouldn’t have wanted to try! 😉
Inquiring minds want to know, “Where did you get the idea for your picture book, Buttons??” It’s always fun to hear where inspiration strikes, so here is it-my daughter, Laura Pickrell Ambrosio’s, adorable About Me book from the mind of her 3rd grade self. Within the pages, was a clever and silly poem about buttons with tiny buttons glued all over the page. It was so cute, we just couldn’t keep it to ourselves. 🙂
Buttons is available on Amazon! Hope you love it as much as we do!
You never know…maybe lurking in all your child’s school papers is a beloved children’s picture book just waiting to be published.
